WINTER
With over 650 km of marked pistes and about 200 lifts in total, spread over 14 valleys, Portes du Soleil is one of the two largest ski areas in the world. There are slopes for beginners and for advanced skiers.
SUMMER
Although famous as a winter destination Châtel is not only about skiing. In the summer, with the blanket of snow gone, the valley transforms and, along with spectacular scenery and glorious weather, the mountains bring a host of activities for everyone to enjoy, from complete relaxation to extreme sports, making Châtel the perfect place for a family summer vacation.
In summer there are free shuttles at your dispodal to travel around the village, or to reach the lifts, bike park, sleigh-run and the Fantasticable.
