This beautiful renovated farmhouse is a unique property located on the piste in Chatel. The chalet is actually next to the important ‘Pre la Joux’ ski lift with a truly amazing access to the vast and beautiful Portes du Soleil ski slopes of France and Switzerland.
The property is an old goat farm which has been partially converted to create a perfect on piste ski lodge. The conversion has been done sympathetically and in keeping with the building's heritage - expect solid flag stones, old wood and large open fireplace!
The converted section of the property comprises;
On the ground floor: An open plan dining/kitchen area with high quality rustic kitchen, large cooking range, a large open fire and an immense table to enjoy every meal of the day with each other. There are two large bedrooms with built in closets and with access to the same large bathroom with rain shower, bath and 2 washing tables. A pantry area, an utility room with a washing machine and dryer and a separate toilet.
On the first floor: Open plan landing area with coin montagne area (two sets of bunk beds). Spacious lounge area with a comfortable Baxter sofa, plenty of lounge chairs, big television with DVD player and Dutch TV-channels. Another extra coin montagne area (two sets of bunk beds). Two doors that give access to the balcony with a view on the ski lift. The vide gives a good overview over the kitchen and the big fireplace downstairs.
The uncoverted section of the ground floor is currently used for storage and games room (ping pong etc).
The farmhouse has a nice view over the mountains and the biggest ski lift of Chatel, next to the farmhouse, that gives direct access to the Portes du Soleil area. Enough space to sit outside. The car(s) can be parked on the parking space almost next to the farmhouse.
